Just this past week we decided to join a group of my husbands co-workers for dinner at Chilli's restaurant. It had been awhile since we had been to the Chilli's and I really didnt know what to expect from them food wise. Ofcourse, I knew of their famous baby back ribs and the
Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers .. yumm!! But I was in the mood for something lighter. This is when I saw its Mango-Chile Chicken, which has 580 calories. The chain is promoting options on its lighter-fare menu lately. I decided to give this chicken a try and I have to say I LOVED it!! I think this dish has now taken over the spot held by Fiesta Lime chicken from Applebees for a very long time. I asked the server to substitute Broccoli for black beans and the combo just worked so deliciously well together. The chicken was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spices and the mango-avacado salsa just tied everything together. I must say I will be going back to Chillis soon enough to get some more of this delish chicken again!
